Studio Sahil UK

Studio Sahil is an award winning design studio based in London. ‘Sahil’ means coast / shore in Turkish, where our studio draws inspiration from natural phenomena, patterns, and formations. Our aim for the studio is to design long-lasting, meaningful, and sustainable products made by the designer herself or with local artisans.

Our process involves looking into intangible cultural heritage, craft practices and methods to develop new materials. Our work fields involve design, production and education.
The main collection is hand blown glassware infused with sand from different locations, which creates unique patterns and textures. We collaborate with businesses such as hotels for designing sculptural installations, furniture, sand infused glass and ceramic tiles.

Our sister brand 'Coastal Tales' focuses on everyday accessories to elevate your look and give a boost of good energy while you carry these stories along your surroundings.

Notable exhibitions: Venice Glass Week (2022 & 2023), Verrier Permanent Exhibition at Hart Shoreditch (2023), 'Coastal Myths' solo show curated by Open Space for LDF (2022), Decorex (2021), Lexus Design Award at Milan Design Week (2019).

Our studio works had been featured on Financial Times, Forbes, Domus, Konfekt Korner, Elle Decor and Vogue Türkiye.

Rezzan Hasoglu had won finalist prize for Lexus Design Award and gave a TEDx talk in 2019. She is a member Crafts Council and Homo Faber.
