RS Barcelona

It all starts with Rafael Rodríguez Castillo, a metallurgy worker who decides to start his own business in 1975. His small workshop one day becomes an industrial warehouse in Viladecans, Barcelona, where his two sons also join. With the second generation, the dream of RS Barcelona takes on a new dimension. Manufacturing for others provides a livelihood, but it doesn't nourish enough. The itch of creativity bites. And it finds its great stimulus in the first proprietary product: the design foosball table, the RS#2, a very personal reinterpretation of a classic in the gaming culture of Spain. In 2006, the RS#2 finds a privileged place in the most important design showcase in Barcelona, the Vinçon store. Something like that fills one with the courage to venture into the production of other products and set sights on new horizons and markets.
