When we moved to London, candles became our way to unwind from the commutes, deadlines and screens. We wanted to burn a candle most evenings, but quality candles were expensive and it felt too luxurious to burn them every day. There were cheaper candles, but these contained harmful chemicals that we didn’t want burning in our home. Scents have a rare power to bring back memories. The nostalgia that you feel when you smell a campfire, hot sand, heavy rain; that is what we craved after an exhausting day. We wanted to be transported somewhere else and we wanted the feeling of calm. So that’s what we set out to create: bringing memories to life through scent. Inspired, we took perfumery courses. We rolled up our sleeves and created what we could not find. We spent months perfecting scents that were beautifully nostalgic, while staying committed to creating a clean burn at a cost available to everyone. We are an independent fragrance company that believes that fragrance should be an everyday luxury.
