Product Story
The Moiré Family takes its name from the Moiré Effect in physics. A moiré effect is created by overlaying two identical patterns on parallel transparent surfaces. Relocating, rotating, or changing the perspective from which surfaces are viewed makes a new pattern visible that was not previously visible. This illusion is created by bringing the perforated surfaces superimposed in the design, creating the perception that the static surfaces are somehow in motion. It adds depth, movement and unexpected excitement to the space, giving the user the feeling of having a completely different lighting when viewed from different angles. The Moiré family emphasizes the discontinuity of human perception by creating patterns that exist in your vision but are not actually there.
