Prickly Pears

We are Prickly Pears. A fruit also known as the Indian Fig that grows on thorny cacti, almost without any need for water, on the sides of dirt roads, along dried streams, on the slopes of arid and barren hills, ripening under the hot sun of the Mediterranean. We were inspired by our fertile land and our childhood memories. The Cactus Pear is a symbol of hope, endurance, endless spirit and perseverance. Just as it blooms and bears fruit in harsh conditions, we too carry on the forgotten crafts and traditions of this land where we were born and grew up, to tell the stories of its people. We present our respect and love to nature, to labour and people, and thank you for being at our side and supporting us throughout this journey!
