Akın Tek, the founder and designer of the brand, started ceramics in 1993 while he was studying at Boğaziçi University. After graduating, he continues to produce ceramics and as a throwing wheel instructor while giving critical reading and writing courses at universities. Ultimately, he leaves the University in 2020, never to return, and establishes his own brand. Miniceramicsart offers a wide range of designs from niche mini ceramics to standard size functional products, from jewelry to objects.
