What Makes the Mushroom Funnel So Unique?
Sustainable material
One of the main advantages of cork as a material is its sustainability. The cork is collected only from the bark of the cork oak tree, without cutting down the tree, which allows the tree to still absorb CO2 and produce oxygen. Additionally, cork is biodegradable and reusable, minimizing its impact on the environment.
Cushioning properties
Another advantage of cork is its natural cushioning ability. It makes cork an excellent material for use in stone mills, as it reduces the noise and vibration that can occur when grinding flour. The cushioning properties of cork also ensure a longer lifespan for the mill.
Hygiene
Cork is naturally antibacterial and mildew-resistant, which means it is an ideal choice when handling food. Made from cork, Komo stone mills are easy to clean and maintain, remain hygienic, and provide you with years of loyal service.
Aesthetics
Komo mushroom stone mills are not only environmentally friendly, hygienic, and durable, but also aesthetically pleasing. Cork has a natural, warm appeal that enhances the look of the mill and looks great in any kitchen.

Why Fresh Grind?
Buying flour from the grocery store can often be cheaper, but the taste and health benefits offered by freshly ground flour are unmatched by other flours on the market. It is aromatic and offers a nutritional flavor experience; On the other hand, flours available in markets are generally more sterile and lack nutritional value.
Seeds ground as whole grains contain all nutrients as a whole. It is very difficult to find these nutrients in industrial flours. The essential oils and nutrients released during the milling process enhance the aroma and flavor of the flour. You can compare this situation with the difference between freshly ground coffee and instant granulated coffee.
We can also explain the quality of freshly ground flour by the difference between a sliced and aged apple and a freshly sliced fresh apple. As food products break down, they come into contact with oxygen and spoil quickly. Therefore, unground whole seeds can be stored much longer without spoiling. With KoMo stone grinders, you can finely grind whole grains, legumes, spices, small lean seeds and even coffee beans.
Thanks to the grinding process, essential nutrients such as magnesium, iron, B vitamins and valuable vegetable proteins remain in the flour. Why not use the natural and nutritious foods your body needs fresh? Once you experience the difference of freshly milled flour, it will be difficult to turn around.
KoMo, known for Austria's quality workmanship, has been exporting to 65 countries since 1985. It combines quality and social responsibility by adding love and care to every product in the production process. From stone mills to kitchen appliances, KoMo offers superior performance and reliability in every product.

At the heart of Komo mills is their patented grinding technology. Made of wear-resistant materials and placed with millimeter precision, all components ensure a quiet, powerful and continuous grinding operation.
The grinding stones of Komo stone mills are produced from Corundum Ceramic material. These special stones are materials that do not need to be sharpened and are highly durable. This material, which we discovered in 1985, is now standard in all Komo mills. Millstones made of Ceramic and Aluminum Oxide are maintenance-free, self-sharpening, and machines that have not changed for 30 years are still in use on the market. You also don't have to worry if the wrong product (e.g., oilseeds) gets into the hopper; You can restore the stones by grinding rice on a coarse setting.
All Komo products are designed and built to work smoothly for years. All raw materials used are sourced from the strongest and most sustainable materials available. For the continuity of quality assurance, 100% of production is carried out in Austria.
Using Komo machines is extremely simple. With just one button, you can start your machine and adjust the grinding thickness by turning the bowl left and right. Without using any tools for cleaning, you can turn the funnel hopper 2 turns to the thick adjustment side and open the mill and easily access the grinding stones for cleaning. For the finest adjustment, turn the bowl in the fine (fein) direction until you hear the sound of the stones rubbing against each other. Then rotate it in the coarse grain (grob) direction until the grinding noise stops. Yes! There you have it, you have found the ultimate tweak!
addition to the internal mechanism of the nightstands, we also attach importance to the external appearance of the nightstands. Durability applies to the materials we use outside as well as the internal mechanism. If the solid woods used to make local furniture wear out over time, they are sanded and oiled to give them a brand new look.
After our products are produced with great devotion, they should reach your kitchen intact. During shipping, we use special components that are resistant to all kinds of impacts and damage, ensuring that they are protected against damage. With peace of mind, you can be sure that your orders will reach your home without any problems.
