BAHAR is an independent brand founded by a Fine Art Photographer and Conceptual Artist, Bahareh Akbarisafa, in 2020 to redefine the boundaries between Fine Art Photography, and Fashion. Inspired by Persian Carpets, BAHAR's debut series showcases captivating photo collages of Persian carpet motifs printed on luxurious British silk fabric. This unique blend of photography and design offers a distinctively artistic take on accessories and scarves, inviting you to wear art and embrace exclusivity. BAHAR is a celebration of artistry for the discerning art lover.
The idea started with the concept of preserving and promoting the spectacular 3000-year-old art of Persian carpets and related arts through uniquely designed silk scarves and accessories. Bahar has since expanded the designs to encompass more concepts of Persian and British heritage and multiculturalism. All designs feature art statements with stories comprised of mysterious patterns and meaningful motifs.
