Burcu Çenberci is an artist and designer inspired by the traditional arts of Indian culture and the Islamic world; she paints her stories consisting of her experiences, interactions and impressions in the gardens, parks and pieces of nature she visits. She creates miniature style landscape paintings with a contemporary twist, especially inspired by the Indian Mughal and Ottoman Empire’s Karamemi floral motifs. She uses natural mineral pigments, gouache and 22 carat gold on acid-free paper.
