Rwandan coffee is from the Bourbon genus of the Arabica species and grows in fertile volcanic soils on high hills. 400 farmers work in the beautiful village of Gitwa in Rwanda, which is 1893 m above sea level, has volcanic soils and tropical climate, and receives plenty of rain, and harvests an average of 50 kg of coffee. Coffee harvesting is carried out twice, in April-May and November-December, which is the heavy rainy season.
