Product Story
Handmade Taciser Caftan Dress, 80% Cotton 20% Rayon Handwoven fabric takes shape in the hands of a meticulous Artisan; then on the fingertips of a talented Turkish woman.
It came to life as “PULLU FIRKETE” and “YELPAZE OYASI”.
One of the embroidery embroidered on our dress, YELPAZE OYASI (Fan Lace) is decorated with golden glittering beaded lace inspired by Fan, the symbol of the feeling of coolness and spaciousness.
Since the bead, which has an important place in the Turks, is also used against the evil eye, it has been an important material especially in our lacework.
Fan lace has come from the 1960s to the present day, and the region of this lace is Kahraman Maraş.
The PULLU FIRKETE, which completely surrounds the sleeves of the Taciser Dress, spread all over Anatolia from our Elazig region in the 1950s. It is named after the hairpin, the tool used.
There are two different size options as long and midi versions.
