Persons with oily or combination skin are hesitant about the use of oils. That worry is often unfounded. Even oily skin benefits from good fats. In fact, excessive oiliness due to sebum over-secretion is frequently a skin’s reaction to facial products that are too harsh. And only oils can peneratere through oily skin. 

There exist carrier oils that are beneficial, do not block the pores, are non-comedogenic and easily absorbable. They thus help deliver valuable active ingredients deep into skin layers. Essential oils can be added to them to help regulate sebum production and slow down skin’s aging. This is what Viridian does, providing a relief to problem skin, making you look young for longer, while feeling luxurious.

Oils suitable for oily and problem-prone skin in Viridian are light squalane, jojoba and inca inchi which in their structure resemble sebum itself; as well as healing tamanu, borage, hemp and grapeseed oils. Essential oils of blue tansy, yarrow and German chamomile are soothing and anti-inflammatory, especially appropriate for sensitive skin with redness and imperfections. Juniper berry and jasmine essential oils deliver anti-ageing properties and help achieve a unique scent of this magic potion.   

How to use: Morning and evening, on clean skin after tonic, before creams. Serum can also be used after a light water-based moisturiser.  Apply a few drops onto face, neck and decolté, and gently massage in. Combination skin owners may choose to apply Viridian only on the oilier parts (e.g. T-zone) and Pink Lotus on drier parts (e.g. cheeks and neck). Avoid contact with eyes. Use the designated eye serum around your eyes.
