The Sphinx Necklace is a hand-carved lapis lazuli gemstone shaped with 22K Gold Vermeil. The carving on the gemstone is a drawing of the ancient Egyptian mythological creature SPHINX, with a human head, a lion's body, and falcon wings. In Egyptian culture, the Sphinx was decorated and symbolized by royalty, sacred status, and the sun god, the Sun God, Horemakhet, or the Horizon Horus.
