Product Story
The Kök Vases series, named after the unity of form and texture, is inspired by Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate artwork. The bond established by the stainless steel that Kapoor uses in his work with the audience and the formal character it creates under the influence of the material is a process that exists when the artist questions these relations with the dynamics of ceramics. What is desired is to grasp and reinterpret reality within the experimentalism of traditional material, without losing the essence of reality.
The works appear as parts of a process that is constantly changing and transforming depending on the formal contrasts and deformation at the place where they set off, within an area of freedom that allows experimental creation.
It is aimed to create a tactile and sensory bond between the viewer and the viewer by providing each piece to create different feelings and characters within the consciously created deformation, emptiness – fullness, soft – hard relations on the surface.
