Rosemary Tea

Rosmarinus officinalis 

has a long history of using rosemary. In the courts of law, people used rosemary to protect themselves from the typhus epidemic of the time, and in the Black Plague epidemic, people again used rosemary to defend themselves. Brides made crowns out of rosemary, and in Shakespeare's time, the plant itself was often used in the art of tree pruning called "topiary."
