Ceramic and Brass Lampshade – Care Instruction

Product Description:

This lampshade is designed with a ceramic body and brass (bronze-toned metal) details. Suitable for indoor use for decorative and lighting purposes.

1. General Cleaning:

Before cleaning, unplug the lampshade from the outlet and wait until the bulb cools down.

Dust it off with a soft, lint-free dry cloth or microfiber cloth.

A slightly damp cloth can be used on heavily soiled surfaces. After moistening the cloth, be sure to squeeze out the excess water.

2. Cleaning of Ceramic Surface: Mild

soapy water can be used for ceramic parts.

Do not use abrasive sponges, wire brushes, or chemical cleaners.

Be sure to dry with a dry cloth after cleaning.

3. Cleaning of Brass Parts: The

brass surface can naturally oxidize and dull over time.

For light cleaning: It is enough to wipe with a soft dry cloth.

If you want to add shine: A

mixture of lemon juice and baking soda can be used as a natural solution at home. After applying, wipe with a damp cloth and dry completely.

Alternatively, special brass polishing products can be used (in accordance with the instructions for use).

Note: If there is a coating (varnish) on the brass, do not use polishing products, just wipe it with a dry cloth.

4. Electrical Assembly and Cloth Hat:

Do not wipe the bulb or lampholder with a wet cloth.

If you have a cloth hat, gently dust it off with a lint roller or a low-power vacuum cleaner.

If there are stains, wipe them dry with mild soapy water (pay attention to the type of fabric).

5. Protection & Storage:

Keep the lampshade away from direct sunlight, high humidity and heat sources.

Place it in a safe place from the risk of falling or bumping.

If it will not be used for a long time, store it wrapped with dustproof cover.
